If you study this book and know it ...... and familiarize yourself with a few areas NOT in this book, those being the Clark Rule, Young's Rule, and Flow Rate math (as in an IV - for example, how many drops per minute in a given amount of time)...... you will be VERY prepared for the PTCB! I passed the PTCB on the first try! Good luck!! :)All I needed to pass the exam. I am a retired Pharmacist and have decided to go back to work after 4 years away from Pharmacy. I am in a different state and decided it was easier to become a pharmacy technician. This book was all I needed to review for and pass the PTCE! Very comprehensive and well organized with good sample tests including one online. I highly recommend this guide.
